Install the server patch

Just like the game, your server needs the OpenSpy patch to go online. (Why?)

Move BF2142_w32ded.exe next to the patcher, run it as administrator, click Open & Verify then Patch! until both ticks are green, and move the file back.

Steps

1. Download the server patch from Downloads and unzip it to your desktop.

2. Move BF2142_w32ded.exe from C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142 Server into the unzipped folder.

3. In that folder, right-click BF2142_Server_Patch.exe → Run as administrator. If User Account Control asks, click Yes.

4. Click Open & Verify, select BF2142_w32ded.exe, and wait for the step 1 tick to turn green.

5. Click Patch! and wait for the step 2 tick to turn green.

6. Move BF2142_w32ded.exe back to C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142 Server.
