Launch Project Remaster

You can launch the mod with the Remaster Launcher or BF2142 Hub. We recommend the Launcher, since it’s where you toggle addons and bot settings. It’s worth keeping both around though, as each has troubleshooting tools the other doesn’t.

In the Remaster Launcher, turn off the 4GB Ram Patch, switch on the widescreen and visual fixes, match your resolution and click Start Game!

With BF2142 Hub

Tip

BF2142 Hub is the easiest way to get set up and launch mods: full unlocks in singleplayer, co-op and multiplayer, all from one launcher.

1. Launch BF2142 Hub.

2. In the Home tab, under Game Settings, pick the mod from the GAME MOD drop-down.

3. Click Let’s Play!!

With the Remaster Launcher

1. Double-click the Remaster Launcher shortcut.

   If Windows protected your PC appears, click More info → Run anyway. If User Account Control asks, click Yes.

2. In the Play tab, under Launch-Settings, turn off 4GB Ram Patch, as the OpenSpy patches already include it.¹

3. Open Settings and, under General, turn on Unlock FPS (120HZ), Widescreen Fix, HUD-Fix, Blood Patch and ReShade.

4. Set Resolution to match the one you use in-game.

5. Back in the Play tab, click Start Game!

6. That’s it, Remaster is up and running. See you on the battlefield!

1. BF2142 is a 32-bit game, so it can normally use only 2 GB of RAM. The 4 GB patch raises that limit and prevents out-of-memory crashes. ↩
